Known to some as “King James,” LeBron James is a famous basketball player that currently plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers. LeBron has had a long, decorated, career of awards and milestones in the sport of basketball. Just 24 years old, he has a long career ahead of him to look forward to.
Ohio isn’t known for much, but one thing it can boast is that it gave rise to LeBron James. James spent his younger years going to school and playing basketball on his high school basketball team. Impressively, James was able to make it on the team as a starter even in his freshman year. Luck had nothing to do with it, as LeBron went on to claim an inspiring 20 points average per game.
The second year of high school was just as kind to James. Now a sophomore, LeBron continued to hone in on his expertise in basketball, and managed to boost his average score per game to 25 points. During his sophomore year, LeBron was able to take his team to a state victory, obtain fame all among Ohio, and even get the nickname “Mr. Basketball” from adoring fans all across the state.
Basketball is something that LeBron felt strongly about, and as such, his passions didn’t waiver in the least in his final years in high school. Whereas most teenagers in his shoes would have completed high school without a single thought, LeBron James instead had the good idea to get to the NBA early. Unfortunately his petition to do so failed, and he hadn’t graduated high school, so he had to finish out the final two years of his high school career before hitting the professional courts.
The NBA Draft was a good show for LeBron, who was quickly picked up by the Cavaliers as a first pick. LeBron decided to show everyone what he was made of, and in his first game managed to get an unprecedented amount of steals, blocks, assists, and points. Unsurprisingly, LeBron made the qualifications for the Rookie of the Year award and was even selected to play for the All-Star game that the NBA holds periodically.
It’s good to note that James LeBron is still a young adult, and with his achievements has established himself as one of the biggest names in the past ten years of the NBA. LeBron’s history only shows that he has managed to increase his abilities with each year, so it will be exciting to see where LeBron takes the Cavaliers in the future, should he choose to stay with them.

Ohio has received a lot of attention because of LeBron, and it has done them well. It is uncertain if LeBron will continue to renew his contract with Ohio. There are some rumors that he may even do something as drastic as moving to do work among foreign opportunities.
